Within Malta Township Limits there is no charge for a library card.
Out of district - $214 per household for 1 year;
For renters - 15% of monthly rent or $214.00 which ever is less.
Property owners/lessees living outside of Malta Township and paying taxes to Malta Library, are eligible to receive one Malta Library card designated as a reciprocal borrower. Your taxes cover the cost.

Website Accessibility Policy
Malta Public Library is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
channels of communication to all members of the public. As part of this commitment, Malta Public Library
has a policy of providing an accessible website compatible with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) and
commercial screen reading software. All features of the website are coded to allow individuals with vision and
other impairments to understand and use the website to the same degree as someone without disabilities. We welcome
feedback and can often resolve issues in a timely manner if they arise.
