Minutes
Call to Order (7:04 PM)
● Attendance -
Present: Roger McCollum, Rene McCollum, Megan Harding, Jennifer Garden, Amy
McGuire, Britta Krabill and Janet Clark - Library Director. Absent: Jordyn Stevens.
● Determination of Quorum: Yes
Community Concerns - NONE
Guests - NONE
Approval of Minutes
● Jennifer Garden moves to approve the meeting minutes from April 21, 2026. Britta
Krabill seconds. All Trustees vote aye. Motion passes.
Approval of Financial Reports
● Rene McCollum moves to approve the April 2026 financial report. Megan Harding
seconds. All Trustees vote aye. Motion passes.
Director’s Report - Director’s Report was reviewed.
● The email migration is now done. Board members can now create their own password to
replace the one used while the migration was being completed.
Old Business -
● Grants & Donations
The DeKalb County Community Foundation and Malta Seedling Project held a
community gathering for the Malta community at Jonamac Orchard on April 30, 2026. 
Attendees entered a drawing for a $1,000 grant for the organization of their choice. Rene
McCollum won the grant and designated Malta Township Library as the recipient.
A $500 donation was received from FNBO.
All items have been ordered with the funds received from the META grant.
Janet Clark is still waiting to hear about the T-Mobile grant,
New Business -
● Summer Reading
Programs are scheduled with the kick-off party to be held on June 5, 2006.
Future Business -
The furnace in the basement will need to be replaced at some point.
There will be no June meeting.
Adjournment - (7:40 PM) Britta Krabill moves to adjourn. Amy McGuire seconds. All
Trustees vote aye. Motion passes.
Next Meeting - July 14, 2026 at 7:00 p.m.
