As the direction of libraries moves from a carry out for the borrowing of books to places with a larger menu, Malta Township Public Library continues to move forward with the services it provides to the community. Some of those services include:

• Computer classes
• Fax and copy services
• Gaming stations – kids read for 3 hours to earn ½ hr of gaming time once per week
• Board games
• Participation in National Gaming Day
• Family Reading Night
• Programming – authors, performers and other events
• Raffles, give-a-ways and other contests
• Movie nights
• On-going used book sale
• Banned Books Week awareness
• Malta Community Newsletter
• Lending of materials – books, audio books, e-books, read-along, bi-lingual, DVDs, musical CDs, magazines, art work
